Ari’s interdisciplinary background as an engineer, investor and builder allows her to effortlessly transition across different frontier technologies. At Bison she focuses on climate, food and agriculture and specific areas of frontier bio including neuro and women’s health. Nothing excites her more than new ideas and new ways of thinking, and she is passionate about helping entrepreneurs develop technologies and business models that reimagine the status quo, turn paradigms on their head, and seek to generate change and well-being on a mass scale.
Prior to joining Bison Ventures,she spent five years at Braemar Energy Ventures, an early pioneer in climate and sustainability venture capital. She also spent three years leading acquisitions and development of US hospitality real estate at a family office,helping to build out the firm’s billion-dollar international hotel platform.
In her spare time, Ari can be found on a Malibu beach or mountain with her dog, dreaming up creative projects while listening to her song du jour on repeat or a discourse on the nature of reality.
Ari has a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, a M.S. degree in Engineering Green Technology from USC, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
